WELCOME TO YOUR ARCHITECTURAL PORTRAITS! 

I am glad you are stopping by.  I am very excited to help you with your architectural portrait needs. 

First I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Justin.  I am a Landscape Architect.  I enjoy seeing and designing great spaces.  Obviously, I love to draw.  I have been drawing from a very young age.  In fact, I like to keep a sketch book with me at all times.

Architecture has also been an interest of mine.  I enjoy discussing the elements of architecture, what makes a building look good and noticing all the details.  Drawing these buildings is also intriguing to me.  To draw it in perspective, highlighting the best parts and creating a work of art inspired by another, is one of my passions.  This can be done with many mediums, but my personal favorites are graphite pencils and ink.  I love the texture, value and depth that can be achieved.

A favorite pastime of mine is to drive around old neighborhoods with my family in town, to admire the homes of every style and time period.  Also, to take photographs of these homes.  We have amassed quite a collection of photographs, and it gave me an idea.  I though it would be fun to have a hand drawn "portrait" done of  the homes that I have previously owned.  A memento to display and cherish.

I enjoyed the process so much that I wanted to do more.  Thus, Your Architectural Portraits was born.  I am sure that we all have a special place that means something to us that could be memorialized.
